A perfect place for a getaway

Penzance is located on the south-westerly tip of England, nestled in the centre of Mounts Bay. Penzance is Cornwall’s largest and most westerly borough with its location an ideal base for a holiday in West Cornwall.

From the promenade, St. Michael’s Mount can be seen across Mounts Bay and the fishing village of Newlyn can be seen nestling on the other side of the bay.

The coastline around the Land’s End Peninsula is dominated by the grandeur of the cliffs, which overlook the pristine sandy beaches and clear blue seas. Not to be outdone, the miles of rugged Cornish countryside and moors are dotted with ancient Celtic monuments and remnants of the rich mining history of the area.

Penzance is also the gateway to the Isles of Scilly with its Heliport and Ferry service. Some of the other attractions in the West Cornwall area include Land’s End, St, Michael’s Mount, Mousehole, St Ives, the Minack Theatre, Penlee Museum and many more.
